VRayLightMtl cant show texture

why VRayLightMtl cant show texture?

If you are using 3ds Max 2012 or later, check the Realistic preview option for the VRayLightMtl material.

thanks for help, but sorry for that, viewport hv try Realistic and shader mode, both cant show, or i misunderstanding ur meaning?

ok, solve, thanks, Material>Show Materials in Viewport As>Realistic Materials with Maps

You can do it in two ways; one is to turn on the Realistic mode for all materials in the scene - click on the “Realistic” label in the viewport, select Materials > Realistic materials with maps. The other is to go to the material editor, click and hold the button that looks like a checker board (“Show Shaded Material in Viewport” or something like that); hold the button until it expands and choose the last version (“Show Realistic material in viewport”)

Best regards,
Vlado

second method look like better,Thanks!

If VrayLightMtl is inside into a MultiSubObject Mtl the texture will not shown.

It works fine here.
Which V-Ray version do you use?

I’m sorry.
It works fine until the texture size is over the 8192px… no problem. I think it’s not vray related.
