Vulkan Error: vk::Queue::presentKHR: ErrorDeviceLost at queue present

Greetings,

I’m using Enscape with Rhino. I recently downloaded Windows 11 & “Enscape-3.2.0+63301”. When I open a rhino file (I’ve tested few) and click"start enscape in a separate window", enscape begins to load but then I receive the following error in my rhino command bar (Vulkan Error: vk::Queue::presentKHR: ErrorDeviceLost at queue present) and window (screenshot attached below). When I send feedback, the Enscape Renderer Error Notes “Enscape encoutnered an error during rendering. It is using your GPU from AMD”. I’ve tried downloading latest drivers from AMD (https://www.amd.com/en/support) and still nothing.

Help!

Welcome to our Forum @chyduk , in such a case please always simply press the first button “Close Enscape and send feedback” - This way we’ll receive the report just fine with all log files attached. If you’re unsuccessful with doing so, let me know, please.

I am experiencing the same problem as of today. I am using Revit 2022, Enscape 3.2, Windows10 and Nivdia video card.

when I want to save a rendering I get the same Vulkan error on some views.

I don’t feel like anything has changed. What’s wrong here?

I have sent feedback

Hi,

I have the same issue with Revit, Enscape until yesterday worked fine for me and today after installing windows 11 it shows the same above-mentioned error.

Can this issue be resolved?

Please send us a Feedback Report if you’re already on our latest hotfix version. Let me know once you’ve done so and I can have a look at the submitted report directly to provide you with further info as to why this occurs.

Beforehand, you can also acquire the 21.6.2 Optional driver for your AMD processor here (as the current ones are faulty in some ways), in case you have an AMD CPU with a built-in onboard graphics processing unit.

I already send the report, though from another email so I can resend it from this one if that would be more clear.

I have intel CPU and the Radeon MX Vega M GL if that helps ion any way

The asset library works fine, so I can still add the assets but cannot open the render engine

If you’ve already sent in a report, then you’ll also receive a reply from one of my colleagues very soon anyway. No need to send in a further in this case.

I did not receive any reply? Am I supposed to send it directly from Revit by clicking this tab? If yes I did it twice from two different mails and did not receive any anwser

@Michalro12 , I can see my colleague has now already replied to your report and that you’ve replied to him as well. If you run into any further problems though, let us/him know via a further Feedback report or reply to the e-mails you’ve received from us.
