VW type2r .WIP!

WIP!
Concept bus, based on old type2. It’s a project for my university. C&C are welcome :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: VW type2r .WIP!

Funny car. Good Vray start.

Only the deep shadows … Do you use Rhino 4 and one of the latest Beta? If yes, than enable output gamma 2.2 and correct textures/colors at the global switch options.

Re: VW type2r .WIP!

Re: VW type2r .WIP!

Rhino 3: you must use a Linear workflow setup (LWF): output gamma 2.2 and all textures corrected with gamma .45 at the texture dialog. Colors are not so easy to correct, you can go by trial and error or create a color texture and use the gamma correction of the texture dialog again.
It’s a must, any other is wrong.

VfRhino4 support an easy to use gamma correct workflow.

Re: VW type2r .WIP!

Re: VW type2r .WIP!

Using an emitting materials might help with doing the headlights. Simply add an emissive layer in the materials rollout and adjust the color/intensity. Also the bezel around the headlight is going to affect things as well. I would think a nice highly reflective material will do well.
