It’s been some time now since Vray 1.5 has been released. When can those of us who use the Educational version expect to see a build posted on the download site? I know that the free version exist but I really would like to get my official copy of the Educational version.
Also, when can I expect to receive my dongle. It’s been a couple of months now that the request was submitted. There doesn’t seem to be much infomation on the forum regarding dongle shipment.
1st off. why do people other than the programmers think this is a place they should post in. 2nd. what do you mean you cant find dongle information? did you actually look? were your eyes open?

Rather than reacting the way you did you should first read my message carefully. I did not say I couldn’t find information regarding dongels in general I merely implied that there was no recent posting on the status of shipment and when users could expect to receive them. That said, take a breather and relay.
What he means is that this Forum is labled “Announcements” and your post doesnt read like an announcement. And for dongle information there´s like a gazillion posts spreaded over the forum, and the only information is that there is no information yet

I agree. The Announcement forum perhaps was the wrong place to post. Is’s just that the jist of the question initially was the lack of any announcement regarding the Educational version. Thanks for the reply.
sorry. definately a case of the mondays (gee. never thought id ever want to use that phrase ick). its just that if you dont see any new announcements about dongles and want more info then just adding a post to the end of an existing one would be preferable than to add a totally new dongle post which will just clutter the forum more. thats why i reacted as i did since we have way too many dongle posts.

The educational version will be available with the next RC of V-Ray.

There doesn’t seem to be much infomation on the forum regarding dongle shipment.Unfortunately I don’t have any more information about this that you do; they will arrive when they arrive. If you have submitted a dongle request, I will send you information on how to get the 1.5 RCs to run with the old software license, but this is all I can do.

you mean the next release is another RC and not the official 1.5?
If no significant issues are found in the next RC, it will be the final.

A dongle request has been submitted and a response received. Please provide me the instructions on using the 1.5 RC with my current lsoftware icense.
