Web Standalone Error

I’ve been having a recurring error where I get the following message when trying to export web standlones:

“An error occurred during the upload, please try again later.”

It happens about 70% of the time, and restarting or installing new Enscape updates does not seem to help. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Do you know if your IT department recently changed any network settings? Please confirm you have the required port access. https://enscape3d.com/community/blog/knowledgebase/proxy_firewall/

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your response. My IT department hasn’t changed anything, and the issue has persisted for almost a year now. We don’t use any proxy settings - it’s set to system default.

Not to doubt you but can you connect temporary to another network and try again? I’m also presuming you have sufficient network speed to upload a large file? What is the file size?

Yes, it’s been on several different wifi networks over the past year. It doesn’t appear to be any upload speed or connection issues. It goes through the entire upload, and then gives that error at the very end. So, it appears to be an Enscape bug rather than a network issue.

Edit: file size could be anything. It happens across all my models, despite file size.

We do not recommend connecting via Wifi, as the connection can get interrupted and the upload can fail. From your above posts, that appears to be what you are doing. Have you tested it with a direct cable connection?

Yes, I am currently on ethernet. Please, I promise you it is not a connectivity issue. I’ve run speed tests, I’ve been on several connections, tried wifi and wired. It is not a connectivity issue. It is an Enscape bug that I am on the enscape forum to try to find out how to fix.

@cmcdonell , if possible, please then also send us a feedback report, and furthermore, can you let me know where you are located? If you cannot send in the report because you receive an error message for example, please also send us your log files manually:

You’ll find them here:

Enscape main plugin log files:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Enscape\Data\Logs

Revit plugin log files:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\Enscape\Logs\EnscapeRevitPlugin

You can just place all the files that are contained in these folders into a .zip file and send these to us.

Just if you can think about anything on top of your head, is there anything special about the infrastructure used in your office and also, if you have the time, can you let me know if this problem occurs with our latest preview too?

Hi Demian,

Thank you for your response. I sent feedback via the feedback button, as well as an email from the contact form on your website containing my log files from those two folders.

I will try downloading the Preview, but won’t be able to confirm if it works for several days, as it’s not predictable when it will fail.

Update: I installed the Preview above, and I also updated my graphics driver and the problem still persists.

Thanks a lot for trying! In this case, you will definitely hear back from our support team then as soon as possible via the Feedback report.

@spiceagent11 , I’m very sorry to hear about that - in this case, it would also be great to receive a feedback report accordingly:

Thank you in advance - have you been in contact with support before?
