currently the sun shadow in the web standalone is pitch black…
this makes no sense at all and looks very strange…
best would be an optional slider so we can adjust sund shadow opacity…
and by the way - when will there be gpu powered high end rendering in the web as a streaming service?!
most if not all of our clients have zero competence when it comes to hardware and often only have laptops and tablets or very underpowered and old desktops… for these people
it makes so much sense to provide the web thing as a streaming service from a high end machine - im sure there are many users willing to pay for this!

What I do which is much much better is to export the exe upload it to Furioos.com then stream it using Furioos.
Ultra quaility that is not linked to the power of the PC its running on .

anyway - a response from the enscape team in regards to the all black shadows would be nice!
this is just not acceptable

the black shadows are a project related problem…
with new files/projects the shadows are not black 
dont know what caused this but anyway… can be closed

maybe the black shadows have been caused by a Sun Strength that was set unusually high, or a shadow contrast that was unusually strong. Both are located in the Visual Settings, and can be reset by resetting the visual settings to default (before exporting the web standalone).
However, you are right - the lighting calculation is different and less precise in the web standalone, since it uses a different graphics environment (WebGL) to be able to run in your browser.
