Here are some images that we just completed at my workplace for the new wembley stadium. These are just the Vray rendered frames with no people and minimum photoshop work and was intended to give an impression of the space rather than be ultra detailed. Did an animation too, see if i can get time to post it.
Thanks for the comments Unfortunately we didn’t have much time to put more detail into the model so these are probably the best renders we have of it. I am working on some more stuff at the moment with vray but its not released yet so can’t show it… but hopefully will have some more stuff to show soon
Nenad: The camera used was the cubic camera in Vray
stephan_MA: No, the design is by foster and partners but i dont work for them
nice job Mossy the refelctions on the large collums are groovey, just a bit of glossy refection? also the overall lighting is great, did you use color mapping?
I didn’t mean to attack anybody, so I suppose there is no need for defense. I said that to cool things down, just to point out that Pepper’s comment was nothing but sarcastic. It wasn’t that rude, just humor. Ok, maybe he should have joined a smiley to his post to make it clear for some people …
Really sorry if I hurt someone, didn’t mean it. My bad, my apologies.
Let’s just forget this affair, and keep posting those nice images!
heck. ive been seen saying wow that looks like crap for lots of peoples images. heck. even these images are horrible. but then i always back it up with … “and you will never be an artist in this town”. no thats not right. oh yeah. i always back it up with “just kidding. looks great.” im a joker and i make it kinda obvious. Only critisism i would have about this is its kinda too cold in color scheme. Im sure therer would be flags or something hanging all around. or booths. some color would be nice. otherwise nice job
I agree with you, but the design is by Sir Norman Foster, the guy who almost always works in grayscale mode, which makes these images pretty realistic.
ok. what about props then…the place looks sooo clean yet there isnt one garbage can. Im new to the archetectural game so im not sure if props and stuff would normally be added to give it a more realistic feel or if its just a structural rendering.
one thing i notice although they are great images is a slight lack of color.
what i do is do the vray environment override - and saturate the blue quite a bit more, then make my sunlight very yellow/orange.
then i turn all of the object multipliers to 2.0 and turn off secondary bounces. this will also make your rendering go quicker.
let me know if that helps at all.
best.

Flipside, it’s obvious to me that you’re not the one who caused problems on the forum. I didn’t mean anything against you, just trying to make us all ignore peppers posts …
