Wow, I love these! amazing little details hiding in the high rez files, and great interior design.
Just in some of the shots I wish the depth of field was a little larger so we could see more of the detail and not blur it out, for example in shot n5 the metal furniture is out of focus, and taking a photo of it you would’ve probably focused on that object.
But other than that, top notch work, and thanks for sharing!
People integration is perfect
Great work overall but i really love the people integration! It would be great if you can give some more information about the process, thanks!
May I ask for a your lighting setup for this scene? How did you made bright interior with no overbright surfaces? Are you using softboxes or something like that? Or can you provide us your setup?
Thank you, Mark.
If what im told is correct the ‘foreground’ people are captured in house and composited in and the background people are sometimes stock 3d.
As for overbright surfaces thats just good lighting (most likely its physically based in every way shape or form) great photographic knowledge, tonemapping and grading.
Remember the frame buffer is uncompressed image data so saving out as an exr and grading in lightroom will give you great results like this.
You can even achieve great results right in the frame buffer using some good tonemapping settings and a decent camera LUT dump.
You can find loads of information on tonemapping in the thread below. Its a goldmine!
