What are the limitations on Photon mapping usage?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know what sorts of lights, materials, and objects that don’t work with VRay global photon mapping?

Thanks in advance.

Your’s

I think you can use any lights, vray, standard, and photometric. (photometric are slower though).

The materials have to be vray materials.

I think all objects work.

the photon map needs actual lights in order to work; it cannot be used to produce indirect illumination caused by environment lights (skylight) or from standard omni lights without inverse-square falloff.

Thanks.
