I am running V-Ray batch with the latest nightly build and the script editor says:
lookdev_v001_env_bg.0006.exr
the renders say something else:
lookdev_v001_env_bg0006.exr
Is there a quick fix to correctly place the period before the frame ext?

Isn’t it the same problem as this one ?

That sucks. I never had that issue until I started using Maya batch to render. So there won’t be a fix because people are putting periods into a script to make up for the error?
How about having it fixed, and everyone can delete the band aid script. ![]()
Hey Scott… you ever find the band aid for this?
i have a solution for u people
that works, and u dont have to pay me, hahaha
in the File Name Prefix box, if ur image name is => lookdev_v001_env_bg
just add the dot at the end
like this ->lookdev_v001_env_bg.
i know that maya will show two dots lookdev_v001_env_bg..exr or something like that, but dont worry when u render a seq everything will be fine ![]()
cheers
