Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well!
I’m having a problem with a scene and it’s starting to drive me a little crazy.
When I edit the material of an object, in the interactive renderer, the scene seems to darken or change gamma generally, not just in the object I’m editing.
I always work with Corona Sky + one or more suns without any problems; I’ve been doing it this way for years. So I thought that this time I did something different and it might be affecting the calculations, but no, I deleted the suns, left only the sky, I even tried switching to Arnold and then back to Corona and lighting with a white color without the sky, and the problem persists. I tried lighting with HDRI, with a Corona Color, with the sky, with a gradient map, the problem just remains.
I’m using Corona 11, and I tried installing versions 9, 10, 12, 13, and 14, and nothing fixes the problem.
I thought my modeling was done incorrectly, so I deleted everything and went from having 60 walls to having 4 walls and a roof to see if the problem would go away, but it persists.
I disabled the general displacement of the scene, and the problem remains.
I checked the Xrefs, and there’s nothing hidden or unusual that could be causing this.
Basically, I tried everything I could think of, and everything chatgpt suggested, jaja.
Once I leave the interactive running, I edit and move things and nothing changes, but when I pause it and start the interactive again, it gets damaged again.
I’ve attached images where the problem is evident, especially in the area behind the sofa.
When I render a final image, it appears dark, so I don’t know if I’m working with an IR that’s giving me an incorrect result.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?, please help! ![]()
