Not sure if I inadvertently changed a setting or if this is something new to max 2016 that I need to know but, why is dome camera the only option I have in the create camera dialog in the modify panel? [Capture.JPG]

In 2016 it’s built straight into max, known simply as physical camera. I assume it’s not in the vray 3.2 build for 2016 as a result.

I’m still using the vrayphysicalcam in 2016 but its only acessible through maxscript, just run this to create one: VrayPhysicalCamera()

Autodesk decided to integrate our camera directly into 3DSMax therefore V-Ray Physical Camera will not be available in 3DSMax 2016. Although it’s slightly differently integrated it has the same features as before. If you have any particular question please let us know. [image] Chaos Docs …

Use the new PhysicalCamera, it’s got all the same features, plus new ones.

3ds max 2018 will ship with Arnold in place of Mental Ray
