where is the vray sun?

I want to test this magic sunsystem, so I have dowloaded the demo… :slight_smile:
…but where is the sun?

what demo? as far as i know the last public build was 47.03 or somehting like that. the vray sun was not introduced untill later internal beta versions

no, the latest demo is 1.47.18…

i believe the demo versions are mirrors of the public builds. it wont be good ethics to give newer copys of vray for free to unpaying customers when the paying customers havent gotten their copies yet

Quite correct. The demo is just a rebuild of the official one, even though it’s version number is different.

So forgive my ignorance but is the VRay sun in the 1.47.03 version cos if it is i have not found it, and if it is not then

no the vray sun isn’t in the 1.47.03 version.

there’s no more version before 1.5 where it can be found…
so, let’s wait for it. :slight_smile:

as vlado said in another post there will more than likely be another build just before the 1.5 build. currently the build is going through beta testing.
