Only thing that really stands out to me is the lack of fluff or hair on the carpet/skin. I read it as being Cow hide or something and they a generally hairy. Flat, but still hairy. Other than that very nice.

It is. In geometry mode. There are plenty of marvelous H&F usage examples in a gallery.
I tried. but it’s very problematic.
What kind of problems do you encounter? You can always ask for an advice in i need help board. People are very helpful in this forum ;]
