Umm. Why was my thread deleted? Did he get under Chaosgroup’s skin too???
Other threads posting plagiarized works have not been deleted in the past.
After the 5+ years of being on this forum, this is the first time I’ve ever had a thread deleted on me.
Whatever.
Part of me wonders if he’s just really manipulative or if he is being very sincere. But I see Chaos group has made their own judgement in these matters.
I just hope they don’t take anyone else’s work for future reference or at least thinks twice before doing so.

Welcome to my world - the guy has managed to get three separate posts on three separate forums deleted on me. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten anyone else’s post ever removed.
He has called me about 10x today and left messages on my cell phone. He has emailed several times and said he was coming to my home.
His latest email said:
“Sorry Charles…I see that you like humiliating me in front of the public…”
Just for the record, I don’t like humiliating anyone - I just don’t like being taken advantage of and thought it wise to post his images seeing that some were stolen.
Anyways - whatever I just hope tonight’s election will put me in a better mood.

This is incomprehensible, this guy Ivo blatantly stole and used for personal gain another artists work, going so far as to put his own watermark on other’s hard work. That the three forums that this evidence has been posted on have chosen to censor this and protected this criminal is unfathomable. I have lost a lot respect for all these forums’ moderators…

WOW…that about says it all I had a nice little comment also and then I hit the button and bam…thread gone. I cant think of any single reason why this thread was deleted…Perhaps he somehow created the user Chaosgroup and infiltrated the inside works of Chaos…

Hrm.. you had every right to post his stuff and info; people should be allowed to see if their work has been stolen too and conctact him.
If there was any sincerity involved, you would’ve gotten an email ages ago apologizing that he stole your work. The simple fact that he stepped in his own fecal matter by trying to secure work using your own says something.
If you’re concerned about your reputation then don’t do it in the first place? Let alone not expect some kind of repercussions and freak out that actions have consequences.
The fact that the posts are getting nuked is BS.
Hrm.. I’m hoping I don’t break my TV tonight over the elections. Then again, various lawsuits will probably hold up the final decision; again.
Does he not understand that it was his own act of plagiarism that caused this humiliation? If anyone deserves to know what he has done, wouldn’t it be the community he has betrayed?
At the least you should have been informed what rules, if any, were being encroached before action was taken to delete your threads.
EDIT: After seeing the new thread at CGArchitect, I am wondering why the entire post had to be deleted if there were a few offensive statements leading the discussion into a bad direction? Couldn’t it just be locked so that the information would still be available?

Someone stole juju’s images, tried to get work from juju using his stolen images (with his own watermark and some light photoshop work done on them), juju started a few threads and rightfully exposed him for he he was - this guy then starts sending threads out.
And the threads got pulled from cg architect and here.
I have absolutley zero respect for whoever took them down. People that need to be publicly humiliated.

I´m sure the people at ChaosGroup had their reasons for pulling the thread. Nevertheless I am very interested what the reasons are.
Maybe someone at ChaosGroup has some time left to give us some more information…?
Come on …this topic is nothing for this forum, it’s more an topic for an lawyer.
IMHO: Bashing someone in a thread without giving him the chance to reply is worth to be deleted. I now think the moderators here are doing a good job ..maybe a cleanout with the sticky msgs and i would be really happy.
The thread was deleted by our support guys (not by me) at the request of the person that was mentioned there; we believe he did get the point brought up by Jujubee quite well, so the original post served its purpose after all. But there is no point in the thread staying on the forum for all time. Anyways, it is only soft-deleted so it can be brought back at any time.

I wrote a long reply to the mentioned topic where my opinion is not to delete it. Maybe it´s okay to remove names, but it shall not been deleted. I too was quite angry about the boy, but I think for good reasons. I also think this thread was good for protecting young talents. It can protect from doing something wrong because of carelessness without considering the consequences.
So IMO bring it up again.
