why one square

my vray making render with one square, why? What is settings for two square?

Re: why one square

There is no setting. It’s all depend on how many CPU cores is used to render the image. If you only have one you’ll see only one bucket. If you have two cores you’ll see two buckets. If you have a renderfarm you’ll see a bucket for each of the CPU cores to the computers connected.

Re: why one square

very thanks for answer.

Re: why one square

I have a quad core, but on the vray frame only appears just three, what’s going on? it’s that normal?

Re: why one square

That means that one of your cores has been dedicated to something other than vray. You can tinker around with which cores are being used in your task manager.

Re: why one square

Hi

I am planning to build a render farm composed of 7 systems each comprising of a quad core processor, with one machine using the server (I have single standalone license) on which I work; & others having loaded DRSPAWNER. I guess I’ll get 28 rendering buckets; IS THIS RIGHT ? That would be awesome !! A fast reply to this would be highly welcome. Thanks in advance,

Macho

Re: why one square

Yes that would be correct.
