2015 is an SDK break so yes you will, there is a beta version of VRay for max 2015 of course and there will surely be an update around the release date as per usual.

As usual its releases in the beginning of April. But it’s already downloadable on the net.

Yes, a new build is needed. We already have builds of V-Ray 3.0 and we working on the 2.x versions.
