I have a question that may seem silly : vray is only available in english, so does it necessarily need to run on an english version of max, or that doesn’t matter at all ?

vray is strictely restricted to users with chinese versions of max…

There might be problems with some of the V-Ray scripts (e.g. the material converter), which use the English-named properties of materials, but other than that, it should be fine.
