Hi,
How do you setup two win 10 machines for distributed rendering? I can’t even make win 10 see the other machine in network.
Hi,

Are the two computers on the same LAN? If so, you may need to restart them, and then they should just see each other if you access “network”.
If that does not work, you can try enabling network discovery here: How to configure network discovery on Windows 10 | Windows Central
I am just wondering why this is not working. They are connected to the same wifi router and both machines use ethernet cable. I checked and settings were already just like in your link but they just won’t see each other in network. I had never this problem when I was using win 7.
There is a lot of possible culripts:
-Antivirus/firewall?
-Internal firewall of your router?
-Router settings?
Have you tried restarting your router and/or resetting it to factory defaults?
