That would seem to make sense. Always best to have solid archives of all critical software for this very reason. Starting fresh is often a much more efficient method instead of tirelessly troubleshooting to no avail. I’ve found a fresh do over can be done in less than 4 hours whereas chasing down an elusive software issue on a well worn in environment might take days.
