Anyone using W23? I’m rather curuious to see your impressions of how the 64 bit is handled.
mmmm …yeah me too as ive just got my Dual Xeon nancona… :shock:
Ive been running Windows XP Professional x64 for awhile now, the main performance gain with 32 bit apps is the ability to use a lot more memory, speed is about the same between it and XP32 though.
and thats with 64bit chips?
until we start to see 64bit Apps i dont think there will be much speed improvements… apart from windows itself being faster.
I thought Max and Photoshop were two apps that could take advantage of 64 bit processors?
Not sure about photoshop but Max definately cannot (yet).
btw, that is the most distracting (to put it nicely) avatar I have ever seen
