Odd one here.
I have the DR Spawner being launched with a cmdjob in backburner.
On XP boxes this has worked perfect.
On windows 7:
I’ve had no luck through Backburner or through admin/non admin command prompt.
In both instances the spawner launches as expected, but does not connect to the session of Max controlling the DR.
THE KICKER:
BUT, if I double click it in explorer it works as expected.
Turned off the windows firewall
Disabled all antivirus.
Running Server as admin.
All UTP and UDP ports open.
( this box is begging to get a virus.. haha.)
Any ideas?
Another difference between the windows XP and 7 boxes is the install location of 3dsMax… the XP boxes have it installed on a D: partition and the Windows 7 on the C: Would this effect the DR? Perhaps where the DR is attempting to store it’s temp data or something??
