WIP bar / restaurant

Hi,

A wip ona bar and restaurant
Viz2006 vray 1.5rc2 /gamma correction /vray sun/ HDRI/ IR + LC
around 12 Hrs for the restaurant and 19 for the bar for a 2000x1500pix on a 2.4 bixeon
Quite too long …i must have done a mistake somewhere with the new 1.5 parameters…
C&C welcome

it looks very smooth…i like it!
the only if as i can see it now is the bkg is looking way off!
nevertheless good job!

Gosh !!! Excellent athmosphere !

I LOVE the ceiling and the way colors are blending into each other on the second image!

Same remark for the background

Super work ! Congrats !
The design is very stylish. x2 congrats on that !

Best regards,
nikki Candelero

Very nice design!

wow… a WIP? can’t wait to see the finals

Great Renderings. The composition is nice and the color coming from the light and the soft shadows add a warm feeling.
Hope to see the finals also!

Thanx a lot for your encouraging comments !

Its a wip because the client wants some changes on materials and colors so I don’t know if the final will look better…
And U’r right, I need to work on the Bkg…

Don’t encourage him guys, he must have stolen those images from some other user.

LOL. JK!  I really like the glow the sunlight gives the transparent pieces of furnature in image 1. Did you use vray lights or GI Skylight to light your scene?

elitesouljah : Well I don’t know I’m gonna ask the guy of whom I have stole the image… 8)
Ive used a vray sun and an HDRI for GI environement
For the bar’s scene I ve add a vraylight plane to boost the overall luminosity and each lamp on the tables contains a vraylight sphere…
translucent material are vray 2sided mat

Very nice.

Tom

Nice…though those chairs are all lined up too perfectly.

everything looks perfect.

as for the render times, interiors tend to render ages for me too, over night render is a standard. exteriors on the other hand render very quickly, for example 4000x2500 in 20min.
but i guess that is the nature of interior calculations / a lot of it/

Very nice. Nice and tidy

I like the ceiling material in the first pic alot.
How was it done? just glossys.. was any anisotropy involved?

Very very nice… Great yob!

Thanx
The glossy effects are pump up with some post in Photoshop
Daforce : none anisotropy for the ceiling just glossy

Wow

hey what was the material on the blue glass. its amazing. im trying to get that myself. havin no luck. any help wud b amazing!

now thats what I call dragging up an old post!
