WIP Bathroom

Please give comments and suggestion.

good start dude, but turn the lights on

Let there be light

This image includes photometric lights seperate 1500mm apart and has a downlight ies of 26w

perhaps they need to be 60w bulbs ?
still looks to dark

Thanks for the c&c

nice work
i have only one thing that disturbs me … the size of the grooves in the tiles and also …

i very much enjoyed the distorted reflections on the shower glass.

what i did not enjoy was, knowing all models are from ultra3d site, it feels like you’ve made a box and threw in a couple of 3dmodels.

one suggestion might be the use of skyligth and maybe one direct sunlight instead of those ies lights. personally i dont like skylight and artificial lights together.

the water in the tub looks very nice by the ways

Rendering looks great the lighting is a big improvment over the first image, problem is that the bathroom looks too empty. Need cupboards, shelving, towel racks etc

-Matt

its true…

its true that all the models were free obj from other websites…thats because this was just a test on using vray…im still learning how to use vray properly…ive been teaching Max and Viz for discreet(dtc) and Autodesk(atc) for more than 7 years now…and usualy i dont have time to model my own objects…so when people give me free objects, i try to make the good use of it either in my work or play…thanks for the comments. but then again, we shouldnt waste time modeling something that is already out there. cheers.

Final

I guess this is the final rendering.

reflections are nice

IMHO To much noise in GI sollution.
Are you using direct or photons in secnod bounces?

light…gi

i have 1 direct light, 1 vray light and 12 photometric light. therefore its hard to mix…but im using both..
