WIP Interior scene, crits & advice ;)

Hello folks! ;D

I’m currently working on an interior scene. It still needs a lot of work but I’d be happy to receive some comments already in this early state.

This is a list I’m making for myself (and others) of things I’d like to add and improve:
-Lower size of the sun
-Less noise
-Add picture or art frame above the cabinet
-Add decorative elements on the cabinet (books, “toys”, flowers,..)
-Add decorative elements on the table (pads, knives,…)
-Finish kitchen (door handles, texturing, cooker and faucet+sink)
-Add decorative elements to kitchen (bowl with croissants, glasses, plates,…)
-Add carpet
-Higher GI paramater 2 → 3

If anyone could help me providing anything stated above I’d really appreciate it.
Any other ideas to cheer up the space would be appreciated as well!

Cheers,
Roo Evans

it’s looking great dude, and i think that you should keep the dark side at the bottom of the image, but you need an omnilight overthere… just to brighten that a little :stuck_out_tongue:

Roo,
that looks like a nice start!

If I’m not mistaken, there are windows behind the camera. If it’s so, then you should orient the floor boards to point towards the windows. This is how a professional would lay such a floor.
Oh, and the juice looks a bit funny. Maybe try a translucent material!

Looking fwd to seeing how you progress!

Cheers,
Matt

arqestevez1, hey man, thanks for the tip, I’ll try to up the GI first and if that doesn’t do the trick I might consider an omni

Matthias, Yeps you’re right, there are windows behind the camera. Oh really? Never thought about it, although I prefer them this way composition wise, if not the home will look more slim and deeper I think.
Haha yes the orange juice, I’ve been messing a lot with it, up to now this is the best I could come up with, so any help is appreciated.

Will post an update tomorrow

very realistic what version did u use?

Re: WIP Interior scene, crits & advice

dude,

nice! I love whats going on on the left part of the image. I like the books and magazines.

I dislike the camera angle..and i know you have more work to do with the rest!

Make the whole thing POP like the sideboard and this will look fantastic.
