Wip on the dead end,

Hi,

This is part of a 3 days project for a dealership on a existing building, any critics are welcome!
I need to finish it today…and a lot of them to render yet :frowning:

some crits? well it looks pretty good anyway..but i guess I could say that as bright as it is outside and darker inside, wouldn’t you see more reflection in the panes of glass?

Yeah you right, but main pourpose is to show the inside so I try to avoid that…

Very nice Goncalo!

My 2cents would be to perhaps turn the front ceiling spotlights on, to try get some highlights/sparkle/accent on the cars…it’ll maybe brighten the interior just a bit too…pretty strong contast between bright outside/dark inside.

Good job!

I find the outside textures a bit boring because of the obvious repeating. Especially the stones in front of the window, there’s a large area with only stones, maybe you can add some extra stuff there (paint lines, dirt, ???)

Very nice, Goncalo, I agree with flipside, maybe a quick way to do it is to mix a little noise into it.

Thanks for the inputs! I agree with them all!

the problem with dirtying up an image to make it look more realistic is often not what a client wants to see. They like the idea that their building etc, will be shiny and clean FOREVER!! lol

I will not dirty to much!

really like your work Goncalo, though I reckn’ an interior like that should be lit well (twice as much as it is now) like a 7-11 or service station. not blown out but no shadows because of all the light bouncing around. just my thoughts.

Thanks all for the help!

PS: I know, they are all blue

Gonçalo

Very nice!
It seems you didn’t get any sleep this night :!:

Nice project to do anyway,

Leon

does 3 day project including modeling the car???
btw, ur picture looks like Luis Figo. :stuck_out_tongue:
any family relationship?

Looks great Goncalo! My biggest crit would be that the scale of the stones on the floor outside the window looks too small. I would make em bigger personaly. I think they look out of scale with the showroom. Great work mate.

The stone, if that is what it is, what is covering the building,
it is very confusing, the dimensions of the pieces could vary,
and tones within them,
i know it is for today,
same with the stones on the ground, they are all the same,
in real life it is not like this, normally.

besides that, the images are prospero quality. :o

good luck

hello G.

truly a beautifulst job compliments G.

the map external I find to them strange, is for the pavement that for the wall.

however an optimal job

This is two pictures from the site, and the materials I was trying to reproduce.

Thanks for all the comments,

Three days?! Would do that in a single day … on the north pole.

Just a thought : on the second image of the second image post (hope you get me), I’d rather place the sun on the right, in order to get a nice lit/shadowed sequence (thanks to shadows in the patio) and thus give the building more depth … unless you need to show some particular period of the day.

Really great stuff Gonçalo. Need me to say “keep it up!”?

Nenad

Aaargh! Guess I was too late with my comments.

Nevermind …
