WIP -Renovation of a gallery - [2nd update]

Hi,

it’s my first WIP on this forum, hope you’ll enjoy. Model 90% complete, post processing still to come… Deadline end of next week

I have to make 2 views of the expected athmosphere of an existing gallery in brussels that will be renovated. I’ve posted a photo of the actual state of the gallery

C&C are welcome but keep in mind that i’m not the architect

nice job so far. i like the last one best…

yeah, really nice lighting in the last one.

lol dudes…last one is… umm…dont want to spoil the dreams.

Looking good! Very good modeling and texturing. You are very close to capturing the look of the photo,IMHO.

Nice work, especially considering the size of the project.

Tony

haha i know…

Wonderful work. Congratulations.

How did you create the light of the dome. Are the holes modelled or alpha channel?

bye

shattered dreams! could have sworn some of it looked photoshopped.

Outstanding works, really well done! 8) 8) 8)

so you did a vray version as well as the maxwell one? cool

damn, you got me with this last one

the last one is a real photo

LOL, last one is photo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ didn’t read the post carefully

Thx all for your comments !

Lol ! you really did belive it was a rendering ? Sorry but i’m not as good

I’ll post an update of these images end of the week.

The purpose of this project is to present the gallery in his future “revitalized” state…

great work pixelab, you managed to match the photo well.
Look foreard to the updates

An update of the night view with 2 extracts at full resolution

Day view take ages to render in hi resolution :?

Do you like Godiva ?

i think the image may benefit from a little ‘aging’ like the photograph.

why have you used the edge texture? it looks like a cross between a render and an illustration

Looks like a bit of vray toon. I’ve played with adding that into photoreal renders, although usually not quite that pronounced. It gives a nice look I think.

Excellent renderings! 8)
Slightly don’t like the new green columns and the new dark-grey dome, I know this is designers’ choice
Can’t wait to see the daylight shot!
