Looks, good, techinical modeling is a snap once you got the flow.
i´m impresed with modeling , awesome !!!
 great modeling!
Looks Great, Images are way too big for this forum though.
Modeling is outstanding except for a very small detail: the two U profiles that hold the hydraulic cylinders have a jagged edge.
I really like the soft gray rendering with the edges
Thx guys for your comments ![]()
Sorry if images are too big, i’ll post 1024 jpg format ![]()
Gijs, i checked the u profile, but mesh is ok… i think maybe vrayEdgeTex too thick to show all detail ![]()
Little update, this is the light study, all other objects are hidden ![]()
Let me know ![]()
Looks great :!: Very exact  How did you model it so fast? Three hours is insanely fast:!: What kind of reference were you working from? Did you have some sort of CAD data? BTW, I see what Gigis was ref-ferring to and it’s in the second pic not the first with the VRay Edges. On the left where the hydraulics joint with the “legs”.

What can I say… maybe nothing I’m just
Thx guys! ![]()
@ Trapezium
I have only a couple of hires image for reference ![]()
Thx for clarification, now i understand what Gijs was referring
i’ll fix it
This is a little update, still wip
No post-processing, pure render ![]()
could you please post some closups of the bolts and corners
10/10 for modelling,
nice!!
Any chance you could post your settings for your nut/bolt and and the piston rod material.
Also how is the object/scene lit ?
wow…but with a .9 or even .8 glossy on the refraction mat. it could be an 11!
this is great…
love to see your settings…
Please post a close-up example of your corners! ![]()
Do you use crease?
WOW for a WIP it looks great.
