Won't Render 4k Video - Video export error

Hello,

I receive an error message when ever I try to export to a video. The error link takes me to a Enscape error page https://enscape3d.com/knowledgebase/missing-third-party-software/

I am running Windows 10, not 7 as the error page suggests. I have updated my GTX 1080ti graphics card and Windows as well. Nothing I do can remove the video export error. I have submitted feedback, but have not heard back from anyone.

Has anyone else experienced this error? My projects are dead in the water until I can resolve this.

Please help.

hi,

I had the same issue when using the older version of enscape. Have you updated to V2 ???

Hi @SSB1995 did the installation of the MPEG-4-Codec solve your problem?

Hi, does anyone have 2.0.0.0 version of enscape ???

I have recently updated to the new version and i am having problems with video export !! telling me to download something for windows 7 but i am using 10…

everything was working fine on the older version but unfortunately i deleted it when i upgraded (rookie mistake i know)

any help would be gratefully appreciated

Closest I have is 2.0.0.3. I’m not sure though if that was an official release or a preview though.

thanks for looking Earthmover its much appreciated.

I have just tried 2.0.03 with no joy unfortunately…

I have also managed to drag a couple of other versions out of the trash but no luck with video output as yet.

2.0.1.181

2.0.0.3

2.0.0.104

1.9.6.356

1.9.6.1162

beginning to think its my laptop? but it definitely worked on the first update beginning with “2”.

thanks again.

@srj Please send feedback, so that we can take a look at your log files.

Hi Simon, feedback was submitted on Friday.

just installed new preview and that badger seems to have sorted the video export problem ,

exporting a 15 second high res for a customer, will see how it looks in the morning…

Help,

I have been exporting videos no problem for days.

this morning I get an error - attached

Which Export settings are defined in the Capture tab of the Enscape settings?

Could you please send us feedback via the [Feedback] button for analysis?

I am having this same issue on two different computers using the current build 2.0.2.9, anyone have a fix for this issue yet? One machine is a win7 another is win10, both say they are up to date when I run windows update utility, display drivers are also current on both machines. I also rolled back to version 1.9 but I have the same issue. I just sent feedback as well so you can take a look at my logfiles and hopefully see the issue.

In which resolution you want to export the video?

If you want to export a 4k video, could you please try to export 2k, 1080p as well?

I can confirm it is only @ 4K resolution that the issue appears, lower resolutions work just fine.

Thanks for the help, I tried adjusting all the settings I could think of EXCEPT for the output resolution!

@nnevels_1 Thank you for your response.

It apparently crashes on some systems in 4k resolution and it seems that video codecs are missing. We’ll have a deeper look at this.

One of my clients meet same problem only on version 2.0.2.495.

@rudy_Duke You should be able to render in lower resolutions than 4k.

You can lower the resolution in the Capture Tab of our Settings.

I’ve got a 1080ti and a pretty small scene that this is happening in as well.
