working in the real world

When you work in the real world, presuming you still have a job, you can’t knock on the bosses door and say
“I’m sorry I could not get the renderings done in time, for tomorrows meeting with the client, the rendering program kept crashing on me.”

Your Boss hired you for your expertise with computers. He’s not interested in excuses.
So I told him, don’t buy rendering software without a proven track record.
My comment didn’t go over very well at all! I told him I would help them find a better alternative such a Maxwell, maybe. He said He would let me know, tommorow.
I’m not holding my breath, looks like I’m out the door… Thanks a lot ASGvis for your bug ridden software.

Re: working in the real world

Always have a back up plan. Its no ones fault but your own. You have to take complete responsibility for your career. Bite the bullet my friend! Learn from your mistakes. I understand your frustration but flaming on the forums only makes things worse.

Judging by the amount of posts you have not been on too much. It helps to be ALL OVER these forums everyday to prevent these crashes or bugs you are having.

Best of luck to ya!

Re: working in the real world

I think that all of VfS issues and bugs are posted here on forum, and each version of VfS has it’s own known bugs. Since you didn’t specified what vfs you have I can’t say much more. Anyway most of the bugs have a workarounds (not best solution but better then none)that you can find here on the forum. We all waiting for the upcoming fix patch.
