Hi Sanny,
I like the cold mood of the scene and the water. Could you share some screenshots of the water parameters please? I would like to play with it. ![]()
You used displacement, right? How long was the render times?
Ciao,
Micha
Hi Sanny
I agree with Micha, the water looks great!
Best
Thx Micha and fpedrogo, mostly i learned from you guys and your posts ![]()
Thx too. Could you share more infos about the material and render times? I didn’t know that the procedural noise can be so nice looking like water.

640x422 pixels in 2 min. In High Def the artefacts are really cool
looking like jellyfish!
Cool, what settings did you use at the displacement? I ask me which noise settings did you use.
This is a cloudmap from photoshop, set in Bitmap slot. I use 300 Multiplier in shader settings and 25 in Edgelengt @ Vray Options.
Ah, ok, and I thought it’s a procedural noise of Vray and wonder that it is so nice looking. Yes, the PS clouds looks great.
Very nice. Prompts me to work on my yacht renders more ![]()
