Vantage support

Hi guys. Since there are no renderfarms supporting Vantage (because Vantage has no command-line rendering) - will Chaos Cloud support it? Makes sense, so there will be no competitors?

We looking at this opportunity to provide additional value for our customers. What would help is learning more about the possible usages of such a solution. What are the problems that you are looking to solve with it?

Well, I think the most important is scalability. Currently, Vantage does not support command-line rendering - which brings all automation efforts of the processes to ground zero. Also, the cost of hardware to run it is quite expensive in terms of buying it, keeping it and maintaining it. The all-in-one scene solution (vrscene) makes it perfect to send one file and get expected result.
If you are not planning to do that - bring at least the command line rendering back... why it was removed ??

I will send your request for adding command line interface to the Vantage team.
As for adding this ability to the cloud - it is in our list of items to consider in next iterations.
