"To Scene" Light Changes when using Cloud and EXR

Hi All,
Is there a way to use the "to scene" function if Ive sent an image to the CCloud and have imported the EXR file back into Max/Vray and edited the lights?

Hi james_anderson,

Sorry for the slow reply. In order to use the "To Scene" option you have to generate a VRIMG from the rendering (select it as an output file type in Save File in the Render Settings). Then you'll be able to use it with LightMix and the "To Scene" option. EXR can't be used.

But it's a better practice to use LightMix and edit the lights before rendering in Chaos Cloud. You can do this by rendering locally with lower resolution. When ready and satisfied with the lights, increase the resolution and any other quality settings you might have lowered, and submit to Chaos Cloud for rendering. This way you will save credits.
