  • How to define output format from Cloud?

    Hi

I m in my second big render session with cloud and I mean it saves time... a lot. Just my first 1500 frames animation took 4 hours, but with my local computer it would take 17 days rendering 24/7 - based on my setup. So it is amazing and make it possible for us to deliver animation on many aspect, also for more mundane projects where the animation is more into "nice to have". To deliver good results inside a short timeframe is perfect!

Anyway... I have never really understood how I define the output... PNG, EXR, JPG. I just like to have three results (Beauty, Zdepth, Alpha) and as uncompressed PNG. How do I do that?

    Hey fredrik_stre ,

Many thanks for the kind words! Appreciate them

With respect to your question, you can set up a PNG output the same way you specify it when rendering locally with V-Ray for 3ds Max. Usually this is done through the Save File option of the 3ds Max Render Settings. Please let me know if you need further details how to do this. When you set the output file type in this way, we'll respect your selection and will generate this type of output file for you.

    Bests,
