  • Cloud Render postproduction in Frame Buffer

    Hi everyone,

I have just started experimenting with Cloud Render. However, to postproduce the image generated one has to use Photoshop as it seems impossible to modify it straight through V-Ray frame buffer. Am I wrong?
    Please help, thank you!

Hi, thanks for posting. If you save your output as exr or vrimg you could load them in a VFB after the rendering is complete and produce your final images there.
Please go trough the docs about the VFB - https://docs.chaos.com/display/VMAX/V-Ray+Frame+Buffer

One thing to add - don't forget to turn off all the color corrections before you send everything to render in the cloud, or they will be "baked" and you will struggle. The same goes for the lightmix - it should be by default when you are sending that to the cloud. You can save the presets and after that batch-apply them. Too bad the batch function in VRayFrameBuffer is very limited. I wonder when Corona Image Editor will be implemented with VRay. Maybe Chaos Image Editor both for Corona and VRay is a good idea ?
