I've shared your request with the V-Ray for 3ds Max team as this should be added as support in the V-Ray Exporter there. They ask whether you have tried the V-Ray MultiSub Tex texture? If yes, what's the difference? What does Viz Park crossmap has which is not present in V-Ray MultiSub Tex?
Hey, thanks for getting back to me so quickly, So i think the main difference for me between VP crossmap and the Vray Multisub Tex is that crossmap lets you change the bitmap mapping coordinates globally over all the maps loaded, whereas with multisub text I would need to change the mapping channel and coordinates for each individual map. Also with VP you can load multiple files at once with Multisub each bitmap has to be loaded individually.
I will have a test with multisub tex, but with bricks for example 30ish maps for each type of brick in a large scene quickly adds up to lots of time adding individual maps.
I understand that you're used to the CrossMap workflow (which surely looks convenient) but we need to rewrite all 3rd party textures from scratch so they can work in V-Ray Standalone when exported (Cloud, V-Ray GPU), which is almost impossible giving there are new versions of those multiple times a year.
For the mass change of mapping coordinates, we've added VRayUVWRandomizer which you can plug in multiple VRayBitmaps. I'm pretty sure you'll have even better randomization options when combined with VRayMultiSubTex.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Thanks for the screen shot and yes thats the work around i had also come too, i guess the thing to add to the "wishlist" would be a Vray multi sub tex bulk file loader so one could add multiple files in at once, but thats probably for another thread!
