  • Cloud vs Local rendering totally different.

    Hi I am having a serious issue with Cloud being completely wrong/different compared to my local rendering.
    Ive sent this to support as well.


    I am using 3ds max 2020, Vray 5 CPU, win10
    Have tried with bucket and progressive same issue. .

    I am using OSL falloff textures quite a lot in the self illumination channels…is there any issues with support for those on the cloud?
    I have attached the scene file as well.

    I haven't had this issue before...but I haven't used OSL much before so wondering if that's the issue?

    So I think I realize whats happening- the cloud is substituting max's default falloff for the OSL falloffs. As I tried this myself and it comes out similar to the cloud result (I had adjusted the mix curves on the osl falloffs)
    Can anyone confirm if this is what might happen behind the scenes once in the Cloud renderfam?

          cam_910 , if you have sent it to support, you should have received a confirmation with the support ticket number. Please let me know if you haven't received such confirmation. Then may be the ticket is not received. If you don't have a confirmation, do you mind sending feedback from the Send Feedback feature in Chaos Cloud from the details page for this particular job?
