  • Render is overexposed

    Hello,

I have a problem that occurs more often, but not always. At the end of the render (cloud render) it suddenly overexposes the file. While in the test render in Sketchup itself it is not.
Any ideas? I expired a lot of credits this way. Already tried to create a new file, but nothing works unfortunately.

      Hi frederique_charbon,

      Can you please:
      1. Share the original SketchUp scene with us?
      2. Share links to the jobs that have these issues? The URLs hold the job IDs which we can use to locate and investigate the jobs.
Both of these will help us investigate and possibly find the issue. If it's more convenient for you, you can share these in a direct message to me here in the forum.

      Thank you,
      Vladie

            Hi frederique_charbon,

Thanks for sharing the scene and the job! I'm reposting the answer of my colleague to your ticket here if someone else has the same issue and question.

Currently, Chaos Cloud previews only the RGB channel which doesn't include the Color Corrections, the Lens Effects and the Denoiser. What maybe confuses you is that in VFB2 you can preview them in the RGB channel even if they are not saved within it. However, they are all being saved in the effectResult render element.

As you didn't set any output from the Render Output rollout, you got the default Chaos Cloud outputs, which are the RGB channel as a .jpg and all the render channels saved as a multichannel .exr file. If you want to render specific image file type, you can specify File Path and File Type, please see here:
            https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...tput-SaveImage

Note that you can load the .exr file from Chaos Cloud in the VFB2 (File > Load image) and from there save all channels as separate images, choosing the file type you prefer (File > Save all image channels to separate files). Please check here:

            Thanks,
