  • vrscene export very slow out of 3dsmax

I have a 4400 frame animation that I have to upload to Chaos Cloud in 250 frame chunks because anymore than that and the vrscene export will freeze up. This is going to take forever to upload my animation to get rendered this way. Is there a better solution?

    Hello,

What are you Max and V-Ray versions ? It would be great if you could send us (to our support) the scene so we can check why it freezes.

    Best regards,

max 2020, vray 5.10.03. i think i might have found the culprit...I'm using Anima as one of my plug-ins and when I delete that out of there the export goes much faster. Any advice when using Anima? Forest Pro, Railclone and City Traffic are all fine.

All Anima objects need to be baked to full geometry which is probably slow while ForestPro and RailClone provide a way to get instances and to export the full geometry only once. Still - if you send us some of the slow scenes we can try to profile it here and see if something can be sped up..
