  • Unavailable for jobs with multiple frames

I have submitted an animated sequence for rendering, everything uploads fine, and I get a comment before submitting that it is "Unavailable for jobs with multiple frames". Then it only renders the first frame, and stops.

Why won't it render the sequence? The sequence renders fine locally.

    Hi Clifton Santiago,

This warning will appear if you try to set a Credit limit for jobs with Multiple Cameras. Note that the option will be only available if you submit a single camera.

Thanks. I don't have multiple cameras in the scene, even though it insists I do. I didn't try to set a credit limit, but maybe it was on by default. I will try again - I thought maybe it was because Chaos Cloud didn't like Forest Pro objects, or a non-Vray camera.

        Hi Clifton Santiago,

Can you share the scene with us so we could investigate it and give you more details? Please use the contact form and got forget to mention this forum thread or my name.

          Hi viktoria.dimitrova ,

I will see if the client will let me send it. I tried sending it to Chaos Cloud again, and this time captured the UI feedback.

Here is what it looks like initially. As you can see there is only one camera:

Name:	01.jpg
Views:	180
Size:	239.8 KB
ID:	1115258

Then, after selecting the only camera in the scene, it says it cannot render multiple frames:

Name:	02.jpg
Views:	173
Size:	209.1 KB
ID:	1115259

            Hi Clifton Santiago,

Indeed, the Credit limit parameter is active only when submitting the Active view. However, if you submit an animation you shouldn't be able to see this parameter at all. Have you enabled the Export animation on the submission to Chaos Cloud?

              I completely missed that. Thanks.
