Hi there, me again, I been using chaos cloud a while now and to be honest I am quit happy about it, like everything it has some issues that I report earlier also...
this is again one of this issues, a very normal, low profile render that normally takes 15 min. now take all my credits and is running for about 8hours now for really simple renders...

CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE CHECK MY RENDERS, PLEASE TELL ME WAT YOU NEED TO EVALUATE MY RENDERS, I USE A NORMAL PHOTO AS A BACKGROUND, ALMOST ALL MATERIALS ARE V RAY MATERIALS, THE 3D GRASS, TREES AND BUSHES ARE SKATTER BASED (I RENDERED THEM MILLIONS OF TIMES WITHOUT ISSUES...), ALL COMPONENTS IN THE BUILDING ARE FROM COSMOS... WAT IS GOING WRONG HERE? PLEASE HELP ME, THIS IS NOT NORMAL! SEE SCREENSHOTS IN ATTACHEMENT...

THIS WAS A TRY OUT WITH THE V RAY MESH CLIPPER, I STOPPED IT BECAUSE IT WAS TAKING HOURS...

And attach the project in question so we can investigate further on our side. Just please use the Pack Project tool (Extensions > V-Ray > Pack Project) to make a zip archive so we can get all the assets associated with the project.

hi I try to upload the zip file on the support page but apparently it's not working... (the file is 690mb including all the cosmos assets and so on...) is there another way to send it to you guys?

Hello,

I have tested the project on my side and locally it renders slowly as well. So I think that the slowdown is not linked to the Cloud. On my workstation, it took almost 6 hours in order to render around 20% of the image. I guess that this is just a complicated project and when you add high resolution and 'high plus' render settings with lots of geometry it just adds up and this reflects on the render times.
Please see the article below on render quality and time explained. I think there you can find information about decreasing render times while visual quality does not change significantly.
