Hi,
Pretty new to VRay/rendering in general...
I set up a grasshopper animation driven by the VRay timeline. This included VRay camera movements (target, position, and FOV) in addition to the geometry animations. Within my Grasshopper scene, I verified that the camera settings were working correctly by running test renders at a few points in the timeline on my machine from the Vray Render GH component, as well as using the "look through camera" feature in the VRay Camera context menu. Images attached for the correct views at the start and end.
I then exported a .vrscene file using the VRay exporter (this took about 5hrs since the geometry calculation isn't super optimized - 600 frames x ~35s per frame for geometry calculation alone on my Dell XPS laptop...).
I stupidly rendered the first 30 frames and saw that it was working correctly and then went ahead and rendered all the odd-numbered frames... I should have rendered some frames at the end first as well before committing, but I didn't...
In the rendered frames from Chaos Cloud, it seems like the camera's target and possibly position were updating, but not the field of view. See attached images (captioned with descriptions).
I'm also including a dropbox link to the vrscene file here. Here is the Rhino 3dm and here is the grasshopper def.
I'm a bit perplexed as to why the camera is still moving in the Chaos Cloud render but not in the same way as in the renders triggered in Rhino/gh... a bit bummed as I used almost all my credits, but lesson learned for testing the start and the ending first...
Any ideas?
