How to switch on/off vrscene-proxy for cloud with C4D?
How to switch on/off vrscene-proxy for cloud with C4D?
Hi,
I have a scene with several vrscene-proxys. In Cinema I can activate and deactivate them in the "Basis"-tab and offline the renderings looks fine. But in Chaos Cloud they are all visible at the same time. Is it a bug?
Could you please share some more details about this issue? Please specify the exact versions of V-Ray and Cinema4D that you have installed. Also, would you please share the scene (or a test scene where the issue is reproducible) with us so we can have a look? Please make sure that you pack all assets for the scene (go to File> Save Project with Assets). Also, please send us the job ID for the job in question. Please follow this link for information on how to get the job ID. Thank you.
here I send you a similar simple file. It is totally confusing - there are 3 different renderoutcome, depending on rendering only current frame or whole animation. And Chaos Cloud is again another version.
"render current frame.jpg" is like it should be - I switched on/off visibility of the objects in two kinds: "activate" and "include geometry".
I have tested your scene and this seems to be a bug. I have reported it to our developers (bug ID: VC4D-1287) and I will let you know once we have updates on the matter.
You will be able to animate the visibility if you animate the "Visible in Renderer" parameter in the Basic tab in the attributes. However, this won't work with vrscenes (which is your case). It works correctly with standard objects and proxy objects (.vrmesh files). I hope this is of help.
