  • Warning asset "X" has no 'actualPath'

So, i'm using a phoenixfd ocean in my scene and when i send it to ChaosCloud for rendering I'm getting this warning that says that my asset - that is the phoenixfd cache files - has no 'actualPath'
Both Output and Input paths are pointing directly to the files and are perfectly finding the files and rendering on my machine.
I really don't understand why this error occurs... is there any specific setting I have to use on phoenix for it to render on chaoscloud?

    Hi joana_arriaga.

I'm sorry for the problem you've stumbled upon. There is a known issue because of which the V-Ray Exporter doesn't export the Phoenix simulation, hence submit it to Chaos Cloud for rendering. This will be fixed in the next public release of V-Ray. Meanwhile you can use this workaround - check the "Export and Render in V-Ray GPU as VRayVolumeGrid" checkbox as shown in the attached image and submit the scene to Chaos Cloud again. Please let me know whether you still have issues.

    Thanks,
    Vladie
