  • Why do the cloud render take a pause in the middle of a session?

I m rendering a sequence of 1856 frames. Everything went fine, but after 983 frames it just stopped rendering. No error and it haven't crashed or anything. It just says:
    All (1856) Rendering (0) Completed (983) Failed (0) Stopped (0) Paused (0)

The blue rendering bar is there and it looks normal, it just don't put any new frames in the Rendering (). Maybe it just starts again after awhile, but I have a deadline tomorrow morning and I get a bit stressed that something is wrong!? I have another 600 frames I need to render after and time is of essence here. I have rendered many sessions the last weeks and with no problem! Do anyone in support know anything?

It went good, so no reason to follow it up

The Cloud is a saver of dimensions. I mean to render out 3000 frames or so, in lets say 10 hours, that would have been 115 days rendering 24/7 on my computer... It is amazing!

        Hi fredrik_stre,

Thank you for the kind words! I've shared them with the team, and they much appreciate your feedback!

I'm not sure whether you have noticed but there is a so-called "Rendering" limit on your Cloud Options page: https://cloud.chaos.com/billing. It represents the number of simultaneously rendering machines your account can have at any given moment. And as each frame is rendered on its own dedicated machine, this means that this limit also defines the number of simultaneously rendering frames for your account. By default its value is 100 machines/frames. But if you want to increase it, you can let me/us know, and we'll increase it for you. You can request this change here in this thread, or do so through the Feedback form as it's more convenient.

        Thanks a lot,
        Vladie

Thanks for answer. So far it turned into no problem as it just paused for an hour or so, and then it kept on good
