Chaos Cloud Rendering for SketchUp Scene Animation doesn't honor Scene's hidden objects or tags.

I frequently render large batches of still Scenes using the Chaos Cloud Batch Render feature. I recently learned that I can do this much faster by enabling the Animation feature within Vray Settings and clicking Render with Chaos Cloud (while making sure that Scene Transitions and Scene Delay is disabled within Model Info)

A problem I'm running into is that this method doesn't honor each Scene's hidden objects or tags. It just renders out the Scenes with whatever tags and objects are visible when you click Render with Chaos Cloud.

Is there a way to render Animations with Chaos Cloud that honor each individual Scene's hidden objects or tags?

I'm using Vray for SketchUp 5.20.06 and Sketchup Pro 2022.

Hello, Liam,
Full support for SketchUp’s section planes and object visibility transitions in animations was introduced few weeks ago (May 31st) with v6.10.00.

SketchUp animations

• SketchUp section plane transitions are now supported when rendering animations. Currently only available on Windows
• The rotation of Always face camera components containing regular SketchUp objects is now supported when rendering animations
• Animation support for object and tag visibility states is added. Dynamically hide camera obstructions, such as roofs, floors or surrounding buildings during your flythrough animations

If you do not wish to update V-Ray, the Chaos Cloud Batch Render workflow is your only viable option in v5.20.06.
