I noticed that the Subdivs multiplier in the VRay object properties is ignored when rendering using Chaos Cloud. Is this a bug or intentional? I am using it to increase matte shadow subdivisions as it is too noisy. It works fine when I render locally.

Hi, thanks for posting. This parameter is ignored when submitting a cloud job. You have to increase the image sampler's max subdivs instead. If you'd like you could open a new thread or a ticket about your project explaining the noise issue with subdivs multiplier set to 1. Maybe there is a workaround but we might have to look into your scene.
