  • chaosCloud upload is aborted! failed to submit.

    Hello,

Pretty new to vray for Houdini and chaosCloud. I`m getting errors on chaosCloud node when I try to upload my scene. My scene is pretty simple with vrayOceanSpectra and a sunlight. When I try to upload it gives me some errors and abort uploading. I tried to export my scene as .vrscene and upload it manually but that way gave me some errors as well saying the specified output type in the scene is not supported by Chaos Cloud. I don`t know what I`m doing wrong. Appreciate the help.

    Thanks!

Hi burak_serin Could you please go to V-Ray > Pack Scene and send us this folder. This will ensure that we receive all of the necessary files.

Also, please, let us know which V-Ray build and Houdini version you are using.

Hey viktor_angelov thanks for your quick response. Attached the Packed scene. I`m using Houdini Indie 20.5.410 and V-ray Core 6.20.24. Let me know if you need anything else, and again. Thanks!

Hi burak_serin Thank you. We have managed to find the issue and are currently discussing how to fix it. Meanwhile, please, use CPU when rendering on the Cloud.

Hey viktor_angelov tried to submit the same scene with CPU renderer both from chaosCloud node and manually from chaosCloud client. Both didn`t work. Wondering if I`m doing something wrong. The only thing I did was to change RTX to CPU. Is there anything else I should do? Did submitting with that change worked on your end? Thank you.

Yes, burak_serin changing it to CPU worked on my side. Could you share a screenshot of your nodes and better - a video of your workflow so I can observe it?

Does it work in a simple scene ?
