I went a little heavy handed on the color grading, so either my client will love it, or they'll hate it.

Thanks! Yes, I use Forest Pack Pro.

This client is a hoot! I mean, a little crazier than most. He wanted nine views of this house, both day and night, for $1500. He literally said that if he can't get it for that price he has Chinese contacts that will do it for less. I pretty much wish him luck and he called later and we settled on a price, which was still much lower than I should have settled. The part that gets me is this whole, having someone make comments for a couple rounds, me making the changes, and then sending it to someone else to give their opinion and to make comments. This happens more often than not and it is getting old. I worked for a company and my main goal was to break that cycle internally, which never happened. Nobody wants to work holistically. Someone has to pay for these changes and they don't get it. Why should it be the person doing the work?

Okay, I feel better! Off to sleep after another 16 hour day.

If you work with the client from my country, what you facing now is just a normal daily route, i facing it everyday. Some job can't even get the final payment.

We have a timer and our clients have to pay exactly the hours we worked on a project. Down to a minute.
They get a detailed list of what took how long. With points like: Modeled the roof, animated the robot, changes based on the feedback from <date>.
We estimate every project with two feedback circles. That's the price we offer in the beginning and when we move past it, we warn the client.
That way they might get pissed but have to pay, there is no discussion. We'd win every court process since we can prove everything and they know it.
There might be some political decisions for long-lasting clients, and we also don't let them pay for time loosed because of bugs in our software.
A big advantage of that is: Clients actually want to learn how to work with us in the way WE need it to be in order to not do everything twice (especially very important for animation projects).
But that works here, I don't know if that's the case for other countries.

              Awesome images as always btw.

It is just decades of bad work practices. Everyone works in their own silo, passing things over the fence to the next guy. The whole building process is much worse. The designer passes it to the estimator who says it's over budget, so that goes back and forth forever. Then, it goes to the client, which comments are made, goes back to design, then to estimating and back to the client. Once the design is in the budget and the client is happy, it goes to the sub-contractors who say this or that can't be done, so they give their ideas... it is just a bad way to work.

my quotation have wrote all the term and condition, and i always show my 3d sample to my client before they confirm the job, if they show me some sample from peter Guthrie or Bentrand Benoit, and give me 2 days to finish the job, i will always reject the job, because i know i cannot do the same job as the legend cloud do in 2 days time lol

The same guy on the last job I did for him asked for 4 extra views. I told him that it wasn't in our agreement. He told me that he would pay extra when he paid his final invoice. He was good to his word and he paid me an extra $100. I was like, really! I told him that I wasn't going to charge him. He would have been better off not insulting me with $100 and excepting my gift

That's sad. This guy is a good client, but as cheap as they come. I don't know, maybe his houses don't have a lot of margin for profit. Personally, I don't feel valued, so it is not working for him I think for some people, saving a dime is their hobby.

Can you tell me more about your timer software ?

I'd have loved to work with my last client on a basis you describe - I 'lost' a big bunch of money on that one
