The only rendered part is the tower, the rest is a photo. I just matched the camera and lighting (vraysun or PG hdri, can't remember) to the photo and rendered with a high filter value to have the render blur a similar amount to the photo. I was surprised how effective a good photo / backplate is tbh, I mostly try to do as much as possible in 3d..
ah good stuff, worked out really well, i especially like the little things, like the light bloom at the base of the marble workbench in first shot, the window frame material etc...subtle and effective. On a down side, i have some renders im just finishing up and now i want to go back and rework...so thanks for that

The background photo is everything - if you don't have a good one, there's no hope. Thats a huge DBOX philosophy - the photography decides every decision going forwards and you should never have to fight it.
You did a good job on these, they have a great feel to them!
The only criticism I can give is on the last render, the photo comp. Your building stands out immediately for two reasons. First the lighting is different than the rest of the photo. Yours is blown out on the front slightly and nothing else is blown out, yours is slightly too bright. And secondly, at that distance the rest of the scene has fog in front of the buildings making them slightly grey, nothing gets super black with the fog there, but your building has no or little fog and so your shadows are too dark and also bluish, but for the rest of the photo they are grey.
Look, the renders are awesome! Really good. But if you want criticism that's all I can give.
You did really nice job here,I liked the exterior shots a lot .
the interiors are cool too, but for me the styling could use more work here ( you might check DBox,Tomorrow,EVE work for inspiration)

Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : )) Sketchbook-1 /Sketchbook-2 / Behance / Facebook
IMHO the last exterior render with the bridge in the foreground is gorgeous! Very nice work!
